COACHELLA MOVIE!

As the anticipation for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2006 builds, check out a film compiling stellar performances from the past 6 Coachella Festivals at a theater near you starting January 24th. We can only cross our fingers that the '06 lineup includes a fraction of the talent that the movie boasts with The Arcade Fire, Belle & Sebastian, Bjork, Bright Eyes, Chemical Brothers, Crystal Method, Fischerspooner, Flaming Lips, Mars Volta, Pixies, Polyphonic Spree, Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Saul Williams, Squarepusher, White Stripes, Zero 7, Beck, Mos Def, and more. If you've never been, check out the vibe without paying mad ticket and travel costs - and if you have been... well, you know you've been waiting all winter to relive it.

Speaking of, some of my suprise favourites of Coachella 2004 were Le Tigre and Kraftwerk (not to mention zenith performances by Muse and Air). I think some Kraftwerk mp3s from the show should still be available here.
