There's an Elephant in the Room

"There's an elephant in the room. There's a problem that we never talk about. The fact is that life isn't getting any fairer:

- 1.7 biliion people don't have access to clean drinking water.
- 20 billion people live below the poverty line
- Every day hundreds of people are made to feel physically sick by morons at art shows telling them how bad the world is, but never doing anything about it

Anybody want a free glass of wine?"

BRAGGING ABOUT CONSUMERISM:

This might be a bit below you, given that it's published in the New York Times (but then again, so is an article about the Banksy show). There's a new website called http://www.zebo.com/. It's kind of like Facebook, but instead of listing your favorite bands you list everything you own. And, optionally, how much it costs. Digital camera self-portraits and all. This is a website that could use a man with a ceramic bird and a collection of spray paint cans.

I second Mike's request and add that you missed an awesome show last night. Delightful even.

i'm struggling with the point of that site... if it's worth investing the time it will take to list my collection of knicknacks.
