We're doing a pretty lousy job of discussing your selections. Sorry.

Here's hoping that St. Vincent makes an appearance. My vote is for "Marry Me."

Ah, Annie certainly made the list... but I chose another song - care to guess?

ugh, I'm disappointed - "Marry Me" might be my favorite song of the year. Her other songs are good, but still.

How about some Jose Gonzalez too? I've really enjoyed his new album.

It's interesting that of your first 30 so far compared to the first two 16-song "best of 2007" CDs I just burned, we've matched on 3 songs: Reckoner, Rainbow Warriors and Heart it Races. Plus matches on 4 other artists (although different songs): Meg Baird, Bat for Lashes, Bird & Bee, and Yeasayer. Can't wait to see how the next 70 match up. Nature or Nurture? Test for statistical significance, and be sure to show your work.

Let's wait to see how the next 70 match up before calculating our p values... I'm not satisfied with only 7 of 30 artist matches, there certainly must be more agreement coming. I'll be most interested in what's on your list that I missed!

Wham City is not only amazing, but live it is even better. Everyone is given a sheet of lyrics and sings along.

I just stumbled on Bon Iver's "Skinny Love" and have not stopped listening to it. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Also, where is The National Lights on the list? Good stuff in "Midwest Town."

Keep up the good work.
xo.
