Today at the Bottom of the Lake

Holly Andres - Fiona I (2006)

It's a flood. It's a flood. It's the illegal activity of a gang of disenfranchised liquid droplets. It's the view from the bottom of a fishbowl without all the fun plastic magenta kelp. It's one part helplessness, one part disdain, and three hundred parts water. It's the heavy stink setting after the fresh clean. It's a new home, a home taken down and marked by leagues below tide level. It's a monotone recitation of the longest insurance claim you've ever read.

Good post. The photo is great and the song is fun. The band sounds like Jack White getting Polbridgy.
