Great Songs of 2008: 41-50

Paul Shambroom - Missile [First Baptist Church in Covington, OH] (2008)

More Great Songs of 2008 continue through the weekend... including a cultural cornerstone covered by the Rock-afire Explosion, a breath of fresh air from a young Nashville country singer, a song I heard everywhere I went in 2008, the new sounds of a classic indie favourite, an experimental highlight from last year's Forward Music Fest, and a tragically underplayed portrait of loneliness.

i meant to ask, did you like the rock-afire explosion movie? lauren and i have been nerding out about it / chris thrash's youtube-ery for a few months... so she was a bit jealous that the film came to the WI-film fest (before she could see it).

Jamie - I loved the rock-afire explosion videos and subsequent documentary... Considered getting my own set of characters before i saw the movie and realized how expensive they were. What about a road trip to visit chris thrash at some point??? It would be cheaper.
